Our Work ~ Ministries & Missions
Whether as individuals, small groups, or a full congregation, we serve in partnership with Christ. You can find us at work behind the scenes, in worship, throughout our communities, and reaching into the larger world. Below are just a few of our ministries and missions.

Music
All are welcome to help us make a joyful noise! Please contact Shara Forrister to learn more about opportunities to be part of our music ministry.
United Women in Faith
United Women in Faith (UWiF) meets on the 1st Wednesday of each month, welcoming women of all ages, regardless of church membership. We focus on organizations supporting women and children, fundraising throughout the year to send checks to local, state, and country-wide charities. Local recipients have included, but are not limited to, the Prosser Boys and Girls Club, Mustangs for Mustangs, and Grandview's Extra Mile Student Center, as well as collecting classroom supplies for teachers. As a group, we also nurture our own by delivering goodie plates at Christmas and thinking of you cards throughout the year.
For the more studious, short-term book or Bible character studies run for a few weeks at a time. Options for study are available.

Monthly Men's Group
Men of all ages are welcome to join us at 8 am on the 1st Saturday of each month as we gather for coffee and doughnuts, have some fellowship then work on projects around the church. Bring your toolbox, as they tend to
come in handy!
Youth Fellowship
Youth in middle school and high school are invited to join us on Sunday evenings from 5 pm to 6:30 pm for fellowship and fun. Contact the church office at 509-786-1097 for more information.

Sewing for Charity

Sewing for Charity meets the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month from 10 am to 12 noon in a former Sunday School room set up with four (4) sewing machines and lots of fabric and supplies. We do simple projects and maybe some easy quilts to give away. Former projects include stuffed animals and quilts for the Fire department, fidget quilts for seniors, baby blankets for the Life options, clothing protectors for the assisted living, and soft books for preschool kids.
Bringing your own machine is always welcome, or choose to pick up materials to sew on projects in your own home. We are flexible and not fussy. All are welcome regardless of skill level.
Serving Our Community
Members of Prosser UMC are also involved in supporting a variety of local organizations serving our community, including, but not limited to:
